You don’t need a compliance team to use AI responsibly.

You just need the right structure.

The CLEAR Framework helps small businesses introduce AI safely by understanding where it is used, identifying potential risks, and putting practical guardrails in place so teams can use AI confidently.

The CLEAR Framework is designed for small businesses that are beginning to explore AI and want to do it properly from the start.

You may be using AI tools casually and trying out them in out to see what works for you

You may have started using AI to save time or reduce costs

You may already suspect that AI could create a compliance or reputation risk

I’m Kim Stevens, a project manager with experience delivering complex projects in clinical research and regulated environments.

My background in biomolecular science and systems-focused project delivery has shaped the analytical approach I bring to new technologies like AI by focusing on understanding how tools interact with data, workflows, and real-world business processes.

I created the CLEAR Framework to help small businesses introduce AI in a way that is structured, practical, and proportionate.

Before focusing on AI adoption, I spent several years managing complex projects in clinical research and regulated environments.

I also have experience in the evaluation and rollout of AI tools in a professional workplace, including supporting teams in understanding how tools such as Microsoft Copilot can be used responsibly and effectively.

That experience reinforced something important: introducing AI successfully is rarely about the technology itself. It’s about understanding workflows, data, and the expectations around how tools should be used.

The same structured approach now shapes how I help businesses introduce AI by focusing on practical guardrails, clear workflows, and proportionate governance.

The aim isn’t to slow innovation down.
It’s to help businesses use AI confidently while protecting clients, data, and reputation.
